1. Send someone a hand written note of thanks.
2. Make a card at home and send it to a friend for no reason.
3. Put some coins in someone else’s parking meter.
4. Buy a coffee for the man on the high street selling The Big Issue magazine.
5. Send someone a small gift anonymously.
6. Stop and help someone replace their flat tyre.
7. Let someone jump the queue at the bank.
8. Hold the train door open for someone rushing to get in.
9. Give up your seat for someone, not just an elderly person.
10. Talk to a homeless person and have a “normal” conversation.
11. Pick up some rubbish in the road which would otherwise be lying around.
12. Compliment a work colleague for their excellence.
13. Recommend a competitor to a potential client.
14. Give another driver your parking spot.
15. Give a piece of fruit to a delivery person.
16. Help an elderly neighbour carry the rubbish out.
17. Leave a copy of an interesting book on a train / bus.
18. Buy an inspirational book for a friend.
19. Send a thank you note to a person who has helped you in the past.
20. Offer a couple of hours of baby-sitting to parents.
21. Slip paper hearts that say “It’s Random Acts of Kindness Week! Have a great day!” under the windshield wipers of parked cars.
22. Have a charity day at work, with employees bringing nonperishable food items to donate.
23. Draw names at school or work, and have people bring a small gift or food treat for their secret pal.
24. Call or visit a homebound person.
25. Hand out balloons to passersby.
26. Be a good neighbor. Take over a baked treat or stop by to say “Hello.”
27. Transport someone who can’t drive.
28. Mow a neighbor’s grass.
29. Say something nice to everyone you meet today.
30. Volunteer at an agency that needs help.
31. Wipe rainwater off shopping carts or hold umbrellas for shoppers on the way to their cars.
32. Give the gift of your smile.
33. Send home a note telling parents something their child did well.
34. Adopt a homeless pet at the humane society.
35. Give a hug to a friend.
36. Tell your children why you love them.
37. Write a note to your mother/father and tell them why they are special.
38. Pat someone on the back.
39. Give blood.
40. Stop by a nursing home, and visit a resident with no family nearby.
41. Clean graffiti from neighborhood walls and buildings.
42. Let your staff leave work an hour early.
43. Have a clean-up party in the park.
44. Tell a bus or taxi driver how much you appreciate their driving.
45. Pay for the meal of the person behind you in the drive-through.
46. Leave a bouquet of flowers on the desk of a colleague at work with whom you don’t normally get along.
47. Call an estranged family member.
48. Volunteer to fix up an elderly couple’s home.
49. Renew an old friendship by sending a letter or small gift to someone you haven’t talked with in a long time.
50. Buy a roll of brightly colored stickers and give them to children you meet during the day.
51. Send a letter to some former teachers, letting them know the difference they made in your life.
52. Slip a $20 bill to a person who you know is having financial difficulty.

  5. Man, awesomely compiled stuff. Even doing 25% of things would make me feel very proud of myself and I would do it for sure!
